Diva Moth

The paper I have worked with is a grey Two Rivers paper from 2002.
Whilst working with the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden on a project ‘upcycling’ I was using the Opera scores which had pages missing or were otherwise damaged. One score was Il Trovatore by Verdi. The copy was a replacement from 2002.
I have made a collage using the opera library ticket, dated 2002, and cut a ‘Diva Moth’ from the pages of the Opera score. The words have been circled ‘ Thou’rt mine…thou’rt mine!..’ Tu mia! tu mia!
You can imagine how the director wrote this note during rehearsals.
The moth is a real species from Central America, and nothing is known about its life cycle, food plants or anything other than the spectacular moth which emerges.
